I know it's been long since i put anything(good or bad) out here. Sorry people,.....

My long hiatus has been as a result of some intense, serious n exciting project i was involved in over the past week or two.
But i wont let y'all in on the project YET. Will tell you all after a while..........at least, something to hope for.

Okay so i was in a NewYork studio the other time, and a tall blonde lady, looking well : oven baked from the lavish tan, with her little rat( Chihuahua) atop her Luis vuitton hand bag, approached me. It was dark so from a distance you couldn't make an image out well. She asked from a distance if she could use my cell phone.....wats the big deal, i got unlimited minutes, so i replied back as she got close. and....OMG u wouldn't believe who it was.....it was...(i'll tell y'all next time..... AHHHHH!!! ( like a bad suspense in a soap opera),lol.

The late King of pops death has just been ruled as a HOMICIDE, not a heart attack.

The Los Angeles County coroner ruled Michael's death as a homicide Monday after search warrant affidavit revealed lethal levels of anesthetic propfol (sedative) in his system .

This means that Jacksons personal doctor who has been treating for sleep difficulty (insomnia) with the sedative is responsible for his death.

This man must be toast now. He should consider him self locked up in jail for many years to come.

More than 60 campers from Northeast Philadelphia were turned away from a private swim club and left to wonder if their race was the reason. “I heard this lady, she was like, ‘Uh, what are all these black kids doing here?’ She’s like, ‘I’m scared they might do something to my child,’” said camper Dymire Baylor.

The Creative Steps Day Camp paid more than $1900 to The Valley Swim Club. The Valley Swim Club is a private club that advertises open membership. But the campers’ first visit to the pool suggested otherwise.

“When the minority children got in the pool all of the Caucasian children immediately exited the pool,” Horace Gibson, parent of a day camp child, wrote in an email. “The pool attendants came and told the black children that they did not allow minorities in the club and needed the children to leave immediately.” The next day the club told the camp director that the camp’s membership was being suspended and their money would be refunded. “I said, ‘The parents don’t want the refund. They want a place for their children to swim,’” camp director Aetha Wright said.

Campers remain unsure why they’re no longer welcome. “They just kicked us out. And we were about to go. Had our swim things and everything,” said camper Simer Burwell. The explanation they got was either dishearteningly honest or poorly worded. “There was concern that a lot of kids would change the complexion … and the atmosphere of the club,” John Duesler, President of The Valley Swim Club said in a statement. The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group has approved a US$ 5 million subordinated loan for the Liberian Bank for Development and Investment (LBDI).

The subordinated facility will provide LBDI with the required funding to meet the increasing demand for long-term financing from certain key sectors of the Liberian economy including SMEs, services, construction, agri-business and light manufacturing. The facility has been designed to provide LBDI with an instrument that has an extended tenor and can qualify as Tier II capital in meeting regulatory requirements.

It will cater to the needs of one part of LBDI´s total fundraising program, which consists of two parts. On the one hand, the institution is planning a share offering of 500,000 new common stocks of US$ 20 each. If fully subscribed, the share offer will increase the company´s share capital to about US$ 16 million. In addition to the proposed capital increase, LBDI plans, over the medium-term, to procure debt finance for a total amount of US$ 10 million, the first phase of which is the AfDB sub-debt facility.

This facility will play a crucial role in restoring LBDI´s capacity to provide medium- and long-term funds for development-oriented projects and respond to the needs of the critical SME sector, which accounts for over 80% of economic activity and employs over 90% of the workforce.

This Investment is in keeping with the Bank´s Private Sector Operations strategy regarding: (I) strengthening and deepening of financial systems, and (ii) Bank support to private enterprises (particularly, SMEs,) through financial intermediaries. In line with the Bank´s private sector development strategy, the sub-debt represents an innovative instrument for deepening the Liberian financial system by partnering with a capable local institution, which has the reach and capacity to cover markets that are currently underserved and deliver strong development impact.

This facility to LBDI is an example of a strategic partnership in the private sector of a post conflict fragile state to support economic growth, consolidate the prevailing stability and promote social progress. Once implemented, the facility will enable LBDI assist in the revival of key sectors and expand its activity to cover more SMEs, which will in turn create job opportunities, grow incomes and improve living standards. It is estimated that about 6,000 jobs will be created as a result of this intervention.

So i was watchging MTV movie awards. It was cheesy and boring for my taste. Jus as you thought thins couldnt get any better... a weird scene popped up. Borat flew into the awards show on a wire, wearing only white feathery wings and a jockstrap
But he soon encountered difficulty as the wire snagged, leaving him dangling precariously above the audience, before he was lowered – head first – into the lap of a seemingly unsuspecting Eminem.

After wrestling off the BORAT man, eminem and his entourage stormed out of the show, leaving Bruno hanging to the audience’s delight.

Eminem seemed visibly upset at the mishap. Or was it a joke he was in on?
You really have to see it to understand exactly how awkward it was, and how unhappy Eminem seemed .

It may be scripted but trust me, eminems disgust was real. I guess the joke was on eminem this time, a little payback, lol.

The avalanche of law suits already lined against the management and reporters of the Vanguard Newspaper is not stopping human rights activist and lawyer, Chief Giwa Amu. Chief Amu has written the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Mike Okiro insisting that Mrs. Oyindamola Amuka-Pemu did commit murder and must be prosecuted.

This is coming as fresh pictures have now surfaced showing the allegedly murdered boy’s severed head and headless body. The pictures are already being authenticated by forensic and photographic experts contacted by Pointblanknews.com at the John Jay’s College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York, CUNY.

Several other Forensic experts have also expressed interest in assisting the Court in wo

rking on the case. However, Chief Amu said that his recent arraignment for wrongful information to the Nigeria Police was a ploy orchestrated to scare him from providing legal representation to Mr. Steve Ugwu-Chinua who allegedly caught Mrs. Oyindamola Amuka-Pemu and her cohort in the dastardly crime of human sacrifice.

Ahead of the May 27, 2009, resumed hearing of the prosecution of his client, Mr. Ugwu-Chinua, at an Ikeja Magistrate Court, Chief Amu is asking the Inspector-General to halt the charade in which the accused was being made government witness. In the letter dated April 30, 2009, Chief Amu said that Mrs. Amuka-Pemu did connive with her husband to sacrifice “an eleven year-old child” for rituals in order to secure healing for their bedridden child. The matter has also been filed with the Police Complaint Commission in Abuja.

There are strong indications that at least two lawmakers may have their political careers on the line on account of their refusal to hold public hearings on the vexed issue of Police conniving with the Amuka’s to have justice miscarried.

I do have my grouse with the Nigerian woman, though. Our women often go by the dictates and symbol of status, parental influence or pedigree as opposed to substance.

I struggle hard to make them understand who I am, but I am always unsuccessful. I am tired of that struggle. I have come to realize that it is better to deal with a foreign woman.

With our women, you struggle to define yourself. Foreign women are willing to take you for who you are, as opposed to what you are, which our women tend to emphasize.

If I am in a relationship with a Nigerian, and I am seen outside chatting up another girl - innocently, with no strings attached, I will have a lot of explanation to make to gain back her trust - even though I have nothing romantic to do with that woman.

Will Smith’s production company has partnered with Sony Pictures Entertainment to bring to life the story of one of the many heroes of the Hurricane Katrina aftermath, the two companies announced Wednesday.

Overbrook Entertainment and Sony have earned the film rights to the story of former Marine John Keller, who rescued nearly 244 of his neighbors in New Orleans in the days that followed one of the largest natural disaster on American soil to date.

Keller, who was nicknamed “The Can Man” by the media, orchestrated the rescue of his elderly neighbors from their apartment building, the American Can Company in New Orleans’ Mid City neighborhood.

Following the levee breach that flooded the city and added to the damage already caused by Hurricane winds, American Can sat in over 11 feet of water.

Keller single-handedly kept his neighbors calm and controlled while helping them exit the building.

While the announcement from Overbrook and Sony did not specify a production start date or casting, The Times-Picayune reports that Overbrook executive Jeff Sommerville has confirmed that Smith is likely to portray the 6′7″ Keller himself.

“When I came back after Katrina and talked to the old people I had saved, they all said God was going to bless me, I’m going to receive my blessing” Keller told the Times-Picayune. “Well, I guess this is it. “I wasn’t in it for the money,” he added. “But I was able to affect so many people. It wasn’t just the people I got out of the building but everybody who valued those people too.”

A gang of perverts has raped to death a nine-year-old girl, Kwaghdoo Agbami, after a late night's traditional marriage in Makurdi, Benue State.

The crime was committed just as a group of women expressed aversion for a recent report that a Senior Secondary school girl was abducted and gang-raped in Ilesa, Osun State, by suspected political thugs.

Alhough the actual time of the Makurdi rape was not known, little Kwaghdoo Agbami was missing from the house, shortly after midnight.

She was said to have gone to put her younger brother to bed in the one room apartment close to the venue of the marriage party. The bridegroom is the son of the landlord of the compound where the deceased lived.

The landlord, Tsetim Shawa, told The Guardian that he had seen the girl some few minutes to midnight, before the party came to a close.

Shortly after the party ended, the elder sister of the late Kwaghdoo approached Shawa with the news that they were looking for the girl.

The landlord said he immediately formed a search party with the sister of the girl, but that their effort yielded no fruits. He persuaded the elder sister of the girl to be patient till morning so that the matter could be reported to the police.

But by morning, somebody raised alarm that the body of Kwaghdoo was lying behind the toilet of the compound, everyone rushed to the scene.

Shawa said "The surprising aspect of this ugly incident was the fact that the girl's body was dragged from the front of their one room apartment to the back of the toilet. Nobody heard any cry, not even her brother who slept in their room."

At about 9.30am on Friday morning when The Guardian visited the scene of the crime, the body of little Kwaghdoo was still exposed, waiting for the arrival of the police. Though it looked as if she was brutally raped, since her private part was bleeding, her tongue stuck out and excreta stained her pants, she looked like someone strangled.

A police team from the Homicide Department, which arrived later arranged for photographs of the body.

When contacted, police spokesman Samuel Jinadu said he was yet to receive full briefing on the incident, but he would brief the press when he got more information about the crime.

In the Osun case, the group, speaking under the aspics of Women, Law and Development Centre, Nigeria (WLDCN) denounced the abduction and subsequent rape of the school girl, allegedly for her failure to give false evidence against a politician.

The statement signed by Executive Director of WLDCN, Prof. Jadesola Akande, on behalf of Women's Organisation for Representation and National Cohesion reads in part: "We deplore, strongly, the criminal and animalistic brutalisation of a young girl because of politics of power.

"We call on all political parties to call their supporters to order. If they are really out to serve the people, they should not be desperate to unleash violence on a young girl.

"We call on the Governor of Osun State, and the Women Deputy Governor to ensure that the culprits are found and that the health of the young girl is well taken care of with immediate effect.

They also called on the Inspector General of Police not to allow this case to become another unsolved crime and to parents in the State to speak out against politics of terrorism.source guardianew.com

An Azeri immigrant in Russia’s northern city of Saint Petersburg has been charged with hiring hit men to kill his 21-year-old daughter for wearing a mini-skirt, police said today. The man’s arrest follows the detention last week of two other citizens of Azerbaijan, a majority Muslim state in the Caucasus, who confessed to murdering the girl, a university medical student.

“They admitted to being paid 100,000 rubles ($4140) by the girl’s father. They said he wanted to punish his daughter for flouting national traditions and wearing a mini-skirt,” a police source told said today. The girl was abducted on the street in Russia’s second city on March 8, taken to the outskirts of Saint Petersburg and then shot twice in the head, the source said.

Russia has experienced a revival of conservative religious tradition since the fall of the Soviet Union both within its Russian Orthodox and large Muslim communities. The Saint Petersburg Mosque – the largest and northernmost in Europe when it was built in 1913 – now counts mostly migrants from ex-Soviet Azerbaijan among its worshippers.

Ever since, Nigerian actors haven’t featured in any movie alongside that of Liberia, until recently, when Nigeria born Thomson Isaac, lead a group of Liberian actress- Evelyn Fairley, Kiddie actress Aaliyah Oyenekeh, amongst others- in a power packed movie- “Bloodied Departure- featuring Nigerian superstars Patience Ozukwo, amongst others.

The movie which was partly shut in Liberia and Nigeria is based on a demonic girl (Aaliyah Oyenekeh) who was send by the Queen of the coast (Evelyn Fairley of Liberia) to cause animosity among a twin whose sister was critically in the hospital and needed the donation of her blood to survive

The movie starred Thomson Isaac as a Pastor whom through his prayer, the power of the Demonic girl, the Queen of the coast and their cohort was destroyed, thus restoring peace and happiness in the household of Patience Uzokwor, the mother of the twin.

Speaking to Thomson Isaac recently, after the premier of the movie in Liberia, he told our entertainment publisher (J. Ralph Lincoln) that “BLOODIED DEPARTURE” was just a test in order to see how successful it will be for the Liberian movie stars and that of Nigeria to be collaborating on a movie.

Though he graded it as a test, but the movie is serous selling in Nigeria, Liberia and the rest of the English speaking countries of West Africa.

“Now that the movie is selling, what’s next?” Our entertainment Publisher asked Thomson Isaac.

“Well, that shows that the people enjoy the collaboration. To answer your question, we just got a call from Nigeria for another project and believe me from there, lots of offers will be coming. So, that should prove to the audience that Liberian actors are advancing. I believe by the end of this year, Africa will become a global village where we can act together regardless of the country you’re from, which industry, etc,” he responded.

After over two years of filming, the movie, Million Dollars Scandal, finally premiered last Friday at Rivoli Cinema with a record turnout.
Million Dollars Scandal began filming in early 2006 and was delayed due to some financial and location problems.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Observer, the director, Benjamin Seequel, said some Liberian eyes were not open to the movie business so “they refused to let you use their homes for filming”. He also added that owing to the unwillingness of some Liberians to invest in the movie industry, there had been some impediments facing the industry. He lamented that due to the failure to enforce the copyright laws, mass production of Liberian movies were commonplace.

Benjamin also called on Liberian television stations to pay more attention to Liberian movies instead of Nigerian.
He disclosed that the idea to make a movie came to him after the civil conflict that ousted former Liberian president Charles Taylor from Liberia. According to him, the movie is about ex-combatants who were jobless after the conflict even though they went through the DDRR process, but people did not trust them because they were former fighters.
Benjamin, who played the major character Stone in the movie, was an ex-combatant along with his colleagues who were jobless. While going to work in a taxi after his car had broken down, a representative left his briefcase which had an amount of L$456,000 in it. Stone took the man's briefcase. Taking the money home, his wife urged him not to carry it back. But because he was an honest person, he decided to carry the money back to the representative's office where he was rewarded with a job and a brand new car.
Having been given a job, he is hated by his workmate because he is an ex-combatant. To tarnish his reputation, his workmate decided to steal the 14 million dollars their boss had kept in the office. All eyes are now turned to Stone.

A source close to the investigation tells E! News exclusively that Rihanna has alleged to police that Brown choked her while threatening to kill her and, subsequently, she lost consciousness.

MTV News.com is reporting that Lil’ Kim is unhappy with the team behind the Biggie biopic, “Notorious,” saying “most of the story is bullsh–” and complaining that the actress who played her in the film never even reached out to her.

In a recent cover story with Hip-Hop Weekly, Kim — who said she has not seen the film — said she believed Big’s wife, Faith Evans, and his mother, Voletta Wallace, were behind the snub.

Evans, however, denied that accusation, explaining to MTV News last week that the movie was adapted from the book, “Unbelievable: The Life, Death and Afterlife of the Notorious B.I.G.,” by Cheo Hedari Coker (although the film is actually an original story written by Coker and Reggie Rock Bythewood).

Now, one of the writers of the screenplay, Bythewood — whose credits include directing the film “Biker Boyz” — is clarifying the lady lyricist’s portrayal in the movie.

“When I was brought onto the project, I requested to speak with Kim,” Bythewood told MTV News on Saturday via e-mail. “Once I was granted access, I was blown away by the two-hour phone interview [we had]. She is a complex person. She is a sister with a lot of vulnerability and a lot of strength. Much of what she told me went directly into my next draft. Unfortunately, she was slipped a draft that was written before our conversation. She was angry at the producers and I did not get to speak with her again.”

When we predicted that Jim Iyke and Tonto Dike are part of the stars to watch out for in 2009, not a few people thought we were playing to the gallery and doing the usual things journalists always do at the end of every year.

But the happenings around Jim Iyke have confirmed that we could pass for a ‘genuine’ seer.

The star actor, who was very busy last year, especially with Van Viker (the Ghanaian actor who is gradually taking over from Ramsey Nouah) is set to release a 12-track musical album in a matter of weeks. The album has the ingenious production signature of Puffy-T, the same man that produced Yahoozee, the monster hit of Olu Maintan, and one Spoons, based in the US. Puffy T produced 10 tracks while Spoons produced two. And we heard that Marginal Records, a US-based record label, has signed him in the region of six figures in pounds.

The album has been tentatively titled ‘Who am I?’ Other tracks on the album include, “Ikenna,” “Who am I?,” “Jimiykemania,” “Bad Boys don’t kiss and tell,” “When you point one finger at me four are pointed at you,” “Truth or dare,” and others.
The songs which a very close source described as Afro Hip Hop were mastered and mixed in US. Four marketers who had gotten wind of it are already lobbying the star actor to use their platform to market the album.

According to our source, Who am I? will hit the streets in a matter of weeks and about four release parties are already planned for it across Africa.

The release party in Nigeria will take place sometimes in February when Jim returns from his planned trips to Puerto Rico where he’s billed to shoot a movie with Paul Cambell. March 27 will be the launching date in Ghana and another date has been chosen for that of Sierra Leone.

Showbiz Now learnt that a special launch has been planned for Cameroon because Jim is Cameroon’s First Lady’s favourite actor. Jim was guest at the First Lady’s birthday party recently. He is trying to leverage on that relationship to make a major musical in-road into Cameroon.

One track that is already causing ripples is ‘Truth or dare.” On that track Jim spat fire about his faceoff with a fellow star actor, Emeka Ike and popular radio presenter, Olisa Adibua.
Plan for the video of Who am I? is already in top gear and 2face Idibia who features on the track will jet out to US on first week of February to meet the star for the shooting of the video which will be directed by Janell Abraham.
